The AUSA D151AEG Electric Dumper Recognized as an Expert’s Choice Winner

AUSA, a manufacturer of compact all-terrain industrial vehicles, was one of the key players in this year’s Innovative Products Awards, powered by World of Concrete, receiving an award for the D151AEG electric dumper, one of AUSA’s compact plug-in dumpers.

The Innovative Products Awards, powered by World of Concrete, celebrate the most impressive innovations in concrete equipment, materials, services, and tools across sixteen categories. The AUSA D151AEG electric dumper has been awarded by a panel of experts in the Material Handling category “for its outstanding ability to aid performance and competence and become a new industry standard in the field”.

The AUSA D151AEG is a 1.5-tonne (3,300 lb) payload electric dumper with a swivel skip. Its narrow size of just 148 cm (58 in) makes it perfect for earthworks in reduced spaces, e.g. municipal works, property renovations, small demolitions and landscaping.

The D151AEG dumper is equipped with a li-ion battery power unit, batteries that are known for their reliability and durability. It features a pack with a 9.3 kWh capacity, enough for at least one full day of work with this type of equipment.

Its 19.6 kW (26.3 hp) batteries are managed electronically to smoothly offer optimal power and with all-terrain capabilities that are equal to diesel vehicles. Additionally, when the accelerator is released, the electric motor instantly reduces the speed while the energy is regenerated, ensuring an increased range.

Apart from the speed and agility of this machine, which allow projects to be completed quicker, its electric technology provides 50% reduced maintenance costs compared to a diesel vehicle. They are significantly lower than those from combustion machinery due to the substantial reduction in mechanical and wear components. Spare parts costs are also drastically reduced. Regarding the energy required to operate these models, the lower electricity price compared to fuel also positively impacts usage costs.
